title fund use

As we plan ahead for an exciting and successful 2026-2027 school year, AOS 98 invites our community members, families, and staff to participate in our annual review of federal funding allocations.

Each year, our district receives federal funds through the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). These resources—commonly known as Title funding—are essential in helping us provide equitable opportunities, robust academic support, and a high-quality environment for every student.

How Title Funding Supports Our Schools

We utilize these federal allocations across three primary areas to enrich our school community:

  • Title I — Improving Academic Achievement: This program ensures all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education. We use these funds to support supplemental instructional staff, targeted academic intervention programs, and learning resources for students who need extra academic assistance.

  • Title II — Preparing, Training, and Recruiting High-Quality Teachers and Principals: We believe that investing in our educators is one of the best ways to support our students. This funding is dedicated to continuous professional development, specialized training, and recruitment initiatives to ensure our teachers and leaders have the best tools to succeed.

  • Title IV — Student Support and Academic Enrichment: This grant focuses heavily on providing our students with a well-rounded education. It supports programs that broaden academic opportunities and improves school conditions to ensure a safe, healthy, and deeply supportive environment for student learning.
