UPDATE: Power has been restored! Georgetown Central School will be open and resume a normal schedule on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
Please be advised that Georgetown Central School will be closed Monday, January 5, 2026, due to an ongoing power issue that has yet to be resolved. While we were eager to see everyone back on campus, we must remain closed to ensure the building is fully operational and safe for our students and staff.
I will be in contact with community members on Monday via email with more information as we receive it. At that time, I will provide a status update on the repairs and share our plans for Tuesday and the remainder of the week.
