A Great School Year - All Things Considered! Thanks to everyone who worked hard this year to ensure our students were as successful as possible. The School Board voted unanimously to make June 5 the last student day for the 2019-2020 school year. GCS will continue to provide only Distance Learning opportunities for the remainder of the year. GCS will continue to provide food service to those in need until June 5.

We Are Growing Kelp! Students in Georgetown, Southport, Edgecomb and Boothbay Harbor, are growing kelp in their classrooms. The kelp will be transferred to the ocean in the spring. Exciting learning ideally suited to our ocean community schools! Dr. Laser

BOAT RAFFLE Raffle tickets for the skiff built by the 6th graders through the Maine Maritime Boat shop are now on sale in the lobby of GCS every morning at 8:25 a.m. during bus arrival time. Sixth graders will also be selling tickets at Town Meeting on June 15th at GCS
